To secure the booking, a deposit of 30% of the total rental amount is required. The deposit must be paid by credit card via Stripe*.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 7 days prior to the arrival date.
Failure to receive full payment within this timeframe may result in cancellation of the reservation, and Domaine du Lez cannot guarantee availability of the booked property.
*All payments are securely processed via Stripe.
A security deposit of €1,500 is required for each booking.
This deposit is secured by a credit card pre-authorisation processed via the secure platform SWIKLY, 7 days prior to arrival.
It is not an actual charge and will only be debited in the event of a breach of contractual obligations.
The security deposit may cover, but is not limited to:
Repairs or restoration required after departure
Damage to furniture, appliances, or indoor/outdoor equipment
Loss or damage to linen or provided items
Failure to comply with cleanliness requirements
Breach of house rules (including the strict no-smoking policy)
Any nuisance or damage occurring during the stay
The security deposit may not under any circumstances be considered as part of the rental payment.
If no damage or breach is identified after departure, the pre-authorisation will be automatically released within a maximum of 7 days following check-out.
In the event of damage, all or part of the deposit may be charged upon presentation of supporting evidence (photos, quotes, invoices).
Any remaining balance will be refunded within a maximum of 2 months following departure.
If the cost of damages exceeds the security deposit amount, the tenant agrees to pay the difference upon presentation of supporting documentation.
By confirming the reservation, the tenant acknowledges and accepts the terms of the security deposit.
In case of cancellation by the tenant:
More than 30 days before arrival: the 30% deposit will be fully refunded within 7 days.
Between 30 and 15 days before arrival: the 30% deposit is non-refundable.
Less than 15 days before arrival, or in case of no-show: the total rental amount is due and non-refundable.
In case of early departure, the full amount of the originally booked stay remains payable.
If the tenant fails to arrive on the scheduled date without prior notice, or fails to pay the remaining balance on time, the reservation will be automatically cancelled and the full rental amount will remain due.
If Domaine du Lez must cancel the booking prior to arrival, the tenant will be informed by any available means of communication and subsequently by registered letter. In this case, all sums paid will be fully refunded immediately.
